Safety Considerations

Before operating a drone with UgCS, please carefully review and follow the statements below to ensure safe and legal usage:

⚠️ 1. Safety Responsibility

It is the user’s responsibility to operate the system safely to avoid:

  • Harm to people or animals
  • Damage to property
  • Legal consequences due to unnecessary risks

📜 2. Compliance with Regulations

Users must:

  • Be familiar with local laws
  • Comply with all regulations applicable to drone operations in the area of use

📍 3. First Waypoint Placement

Ensure the first waypoint is:

  • Located close to the actual take-off point
  • Without significant vertical drop

🗻 4. Accurate Take-off Altitude

  • Always specify the correct altitude of the take-off point before flight
  • Refer to the “Take-off Altitude” section of this manual
  • ⚠️ Why it matters: Barometer readings can change between:
    • Power-on
    • Route upload
    • Take-off → This can lead to altitude miscalculations

🚫 5. Avoid Automatic Take-off and Landing

Not recommended, especially when:

  • There are strong winds
  • Folding propellers might not fully open
  • ✋ Safer alternative: Perform take-off and landing manually
  • ✅ Use automatic mode only in mid-air
