Safety Considerations
Before operating a drone with UgCS, please carefully review and follow the statements below to ensure safe and legal usage:
⚠️ 1. Safety Responsibility
It is the user’s responsibility to operate the system safely to avoid:
- Harm to people or animals
- Damage to property
- Legal consequences due to unnecessary risks
📜 2. Compliance with Regulations
Users must:
- Be familiar with local laws
- Comply with all regulations applicable to drone operations in the area of use
📍 3. First Waypoint Placement
Ensure the first waypoint is:
- Located close to the actual take-off point
- Without significant vertical drop
🗻 4. Accurate Take-off Altitude
- Always specify the correct altitude of the take-off point before flight
- Refer to the “Take-off Altitude” section of this manual
- ⚠️ Why it matters:
Barometer readings can change between:
- Power-on
- Route upload
- Take-off → This can lead to altitude miscalculations
🚫 5. Avoid Automatic Take-off and Landing
Not recommended, especially when:
- There are strong winds
- Folding propellers might not fully open
- ✋ Safer alternative: Perform take-off and landing manually
- ✅ Use automatic mode only in mid-air
